Sound off: Rank Alaska's legislators

Happy Monday, Alaska!

The Alaska Legislature’s 2023 legislative session mercifully came to an end last week, sparing us yet another year of wondering about a budget, a government shutdown and just how much this was costing, we’re here to answer the most serious of questions: Who were the good legislators, who was bad and who was totally forgettable?

That’s where you, Dear Alaska Political Aficionado, come into play!

In coordination with The Alaska Current, The Midnight Sun’s The Good, The Bad and, wait, Who? legislator ranking is coming back this year! It’s a crowd-sourced survey asking you to rank legislators on their intelligence, ethics and effectiveness from what we just saw this session. What do those categories mean? It’s up to you to decide and rank accordingly!

And can’t put a face and/or political career to a name? Skip that nerd! I’ll take that into consideration when putting together the list of the Who-iest of the legislators.

As always, your participation and responses are entirely confidential (which means we’ve just got the honor system for any ballot stuffers out there).

Thanks!
